Ways to have a less stressful life!

Stay young age is just a number...

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret to getting started is breaking your overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.

~Mark Twain

I remember being at work and feeling so overwhelmed...not because I could not handle life or anything but because I had so much to do in what felt like such little time. I also grew up thinking that if, I, as a mom, didn't have everything done then I was failing as a mom. I was burning myself out. I wanted to get it ALL done and be vibrant.

Tired all the time

Holding onto bad habits

Negative thoughts going through my head

Stressed about your work and schedule

Wanted healthier food options

Didn't hear God clearly

Needed workout ideas and time to do them

Can you relate to any of the above?

Now, I am no longer working in corporate but it happens to entrepreneurs as well. So, I saw a pattern that was happening to a lot of people and life isn't designed to rush all the time and never have time for what's important. That's one of the biggest reasons, I tried a different way. I left corporate, you don't have to, I started my health journey, I started working out and I spent more intentional time with my family. Now, you may say yes but I still don't have time.

And that's why I'm sharing this with you. So professionals entrepreneurs and stay at home moms, lean in and let me share some ways to age backwards and enjoy life a little more.

So how do you age backwards or live a vibrant healthy life?

  1. Set a schedule for yourself and your children if you have them: I mean, a schedule that you actually stick with and be okay if it doesn't work out like that all the time. Write it down. You have time it just needs prioritizing.

  2. Write out food list and have meals planned out for the week so you don't have to rush all week to figure it out and lose time in the stores every afternoon after work.

  3. Find time to read your word (early in the morning before working), listen to podcast(riding in your car or as you clean up), sermons or worship music so you drown out those negative thoughts and build a healthier thought life.

  4. Set boundaries for work so it doesn't spill over into your family time.

  5. Set a workout schedule so you move your body at least 30-45 mins per day.

  6. Give love to others, smile, give hugs, kind words and surprise acts of kindness.

  7. Hire help with for house cleaning, kids care, food prep, workouts, and whatever else you need help with.

These are wonderful ways to make your life a little less stressful and you'll find yourself aging backwards because you will be in a much healthier state!
