Many people want to know how to boost their metabolism but not quite sure how to do it. First, let me share what a metabolism is. Metabolism is the process by which your body converts what you eat and drink into energy.
So it helps you have the energy you need to get through the day. I'll share later signs that you have a slow metabolism but in the meantime, the first way to boost your metabolism is to eat within the first thirty minutes to 1 hour of getting up. Eat something light and not too heavy or greasy. Something like fruit and if you're in the weight loss phase of your health journey then try to take your fruit out and eat kale and egg whites or oatmeal. Second, drink green tea first thing in the morning. Green tea contains caffeine and a type of flavonoid called catechin, which is an antioxidant. Research suggests that both of these compounds can speed up metabolism. Catechin can help to break down excess fat, while both catechin and caffeine can increase the amount of energy the body uses.
